Grand Prix Rider Devon Kane Returns to Royal Oaks Equestrian Center to Conduct Dressage Clinic

Foristell, MO (May 24, 2016) Grand Prix dressage rider Devon Kane has not only been upholding her impressive track record of wins at elite show venues this spring, but is also sharing her expertise with others by conducting clinics across the country this spring and summer.

The USDF Gold Medalist, who manages Diamante Farms in Wellington, Florida with her mother Terri Kane, traveled to Foristell, Missouri to offer her skills and expertise to fellow dressage riders at the Royal Oaks Equestrian Center earlier this month. The clinic attracted horses and riders of all ages and experience levels. Kane has taught past clinics at the Royal Oaks Equestrian Center, and was delighted to return to teach ten horse and rider combinations this month.

“We had a great group of people at Royal Oaks! It was a pleasure to teach the horses and riders. The Royal Oaks Farm group is so hospitable and welcoming. Everyone is very interested in learning, getting information, and working hard. I am always happy to return here for clinics,” Kane said.

Pam Davies, the owner and head trainer at Royal Oaks Equestrian Center, noticed Kane’s impressive and relaxed teaching style years ago and started training seasonally with Kane herself. Then Davies decided to start hosting clinics with Kane to benefit Davies’ students and the local community of dressage enthusiasts. Kane herself trains with Olympic Gold Medalist Hubertus Schmidt of Germany, and is a successful competitor in both the U.S. and in Europe. Davies was once again extremely pleased with the clinic’s turnout and results.

“We would like to thank Devon Kane, everyone who rode, and those who audited the clinic. All of the riders rode so well and Devon gave out such helpful and important information. We’re so lucky to have such a talented and fun clinician come to Royal Oaks! We can’t wait for her next visit,” said Davies.

At the Royal Oaks Equestrian Center clinic, Kane’s sponsor Back On Track donated a Therapeutic Dressage Saddle Pad for Kane to present to a hard working rider who noticeably improved during the clinic. Kane chose Terry Bender, riding Bailey, as the saddle pad winner. Back On Track was happy to once again sponsor Kane’s clinic. The company combines modern textile technology with traditional medicines to create products that help horses achieve more active and comfortable lives.
