Presenting Sponsor Diamante Farms Celebrates Success of Florida International Youth Dressage Championships

Wellington, FL (March 23, 2016)— The Diamante Farms legacy of support for up-and-coming young riders continued this past week, as Diamante Farms owners Terri and Devon Kane served as presenting sponsors of the 2016 Florida International Youth Dressage Championships, held in conjunction with the Adequan Global Dressage Festival CDI 4*/3*/1*. Bringing tomorrow’s top talent into the spotlight of a major international arena is a priority for the Kanes, who are dedicated to not only training and competing top Grand Prix dressage horses but also to furthering the excellence of the sport.

The fourth annual Florida International Youth Dressage Championships showcased riders in the Under 25, Young Rider, Junior, and Pony divisions. The event offered a prestigious platform for aspiring dressage riders to experience competing at the international level.

As sponsors, mother-daughter duo Terri and Devon Kane, of Wellington, Florida, witnessed the largest Young Rider division in the history of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Joining the Kanes as presenting sponsors of the Florida International Youth Dressage Championships were Kim Boyer, the Davis family, and Lendon Gray and Dressage4Kids.

For Diamante Farms, sponsoring events like this is all due to a true love of dressage and a strong desire to see the future of the sport prosper.

“I feel it is a privilege and an honor to be a part of this, but I also feel a responsibility to these young riders,” said Terri Kane. “Many of the riders competing in the Youth Dressage Championships do not have the opportunities that our riders in Wellington have. To be able to come to Global and compete in this atmosphere against competitors from several countries is something they dream about.”

Seeing their efforts pay off at the end of the week made the sponsorship more than worth it to the Kanes.

Terri Kane explained, “It brought tears to my eyes when they all proudly paraded into the arena in their full competition attire on Sunday afternoon. Many of them knew they were not receiving awards, yet their smiles were just as sincere as the ones who did. I cannot wait for next year!”

As Diamante Farms plans to once again sponsor the Florida International Youth Dressage Championships next year, the Diamante Farms team is keeping busy throughout the rest of the year by sponsoring the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, the show series’ Under 25 division, charitable organizations like Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center, and the Challenge of the Americas.

Diamante Farms is home to USDF Gold Medalist and Grand Prix trainer Devon Kane. The facility offers top-quality training, clinics, boarding, and sales in dressage just minutes from the Wellington show grounds. The beautiful 10-acre estate boasts more than 20 courtyard-style stalls, grass paddocks, and large covered and outdoor arenas with footing matching any international standard.
